The University of California, Irvine is seeking a full-time faculty member in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism. The successful candidate will provide clinical care, teach medical students, and engage in research, contributing to the educational and research goals of the department.

The University of California, Irvine, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism, is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank in the area of Endocrinology.
The successful candidate will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic and inpatient consultation. Clinic responsibilities will mainly be at our outreach location(s) and inpatient work at our Orange, Irvine medical center campuses or possible other UCI community locations. The selected candidates will deliver high-quality training and teaching, provide clinical care to patients, and/or engage in research within the Division. Candidates who can move forward the educational, innovation and research goals of the division are invited to apply.
Criteria for the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series: The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, and medical students; provide patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service.
Academic rank, series, and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A generous package of retirement benefits is included when employed by the University of California. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
Prior to the start of employment, an individual must possess the following qualifications:
(1) have an MD or equivalent
(2) be board certified or eligible in endocrinology or equivalent
(3) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of California
