Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College seeks a qualified health education faculty member to deliver assigned courses and manage course materials across delivery formats. You will maintain student records, ensure a safe classroom, and coordinate anatomy and physiology offerings in the region.

The role includes advising during registration periods, collaborating with Student Affairs for recruitment and retention, and developing course schedules aligned with enrollment goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: earned baccalaureate or higher from a regionally accredited institution with appropriate academic preparation to the course.
• Certification/licensure in a health care discipline involving direct patient care is included as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned courses in accordance with college loading policy and course objectives.
• Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and other course materials.
• Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and documentation as required.
• Maintain a safe, quality classroom/lab, including equipment, supplies, inventory and maintenance.
• Coordinate anatomy and physiology offerings in all delivery formats within the region.
• Participate in student advising during registration periods and office hours.
• Coordinate with Student Affairs and Marketing for recruitment, advising, retention and graduation activities.
