Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach HLHS 102 (Essential Anatomy/Physiology) and related non-clinical courses, delivering instruction in line with college policies and course objectives, and using technology to enhance learning.

Responsibilities include developing syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and maintaining accurate records; engaging with students to promote active learning; and upholding FERPA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with college policy and course objectives.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; maintains accurate student records, grades.
• Engages with students in meaningful and productive ways that impact learning and align with Ivy Tech standards.
• Adheres to FERPA, safety procedures, and college policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic coaching and monitoring to assigned student advisees.
• Monitor student performance and intervene with tutoring and supports as needed.
• Maintain posted office hours and student engagement hours per campus policy.
• Promote recruitment, retention and success of programs through outreach.
