Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a dedicated faculty member to deliver courses across assigned programs using current pedagogy and technology. The role includes developing curriculum, assessing outcomes, and maintaining student records in compliance with college policies.

Responsibilities also cover advising, retention activities, and active participation in campus committees, with emphasis on student success and program accreditation processes.

Qualifications

• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.
• Faculty credentials as outlined in ASOM 7.1 applicable to the specific area of instruction.
• Demonstrates respect for students and employees in all activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned courses with effective pedagogy and use of technology.
• Develop and maintain curriculum and supporting course materials aligned to outcomes.
• Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and required documentation.
• Support student retention and success through advising and outreach.
• Utilize the Learning Management System to facilitate teaching, learning, assessment and communication.
• Adhere to safety procedures in classrooms and labs.
