Job summary

Great Falls Public Schools seeks a licensed practical nurse to lead health science training for high school and adult education students, in collaboration with Great Falls College MSU. The role includes coordinating training schedules and outreach to rural and home-school communities.

The nurse will ensure compliance with licensure regulations, promote health education and immunization programs, and support school nursing staff through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a board-certified School of Nursing.
• Must hold a Montana LPN license.
• Current CPR certificate and knowledge of First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for health science training content and instruction.
• Coordinates training schedules.
• Conducts outreach to rural, private, and home school students for additional enrollments.
• Assists in promoting programs on health education and immunization.
• Collaborates with high school and college health science programs for awareness and transition.
• Displays continued communication with community resources and industry partners.
• Creates reports and maintains accurate files.
• Complies with state licensure regulations for training, certifications, and credentialing.
• Engages in professional development.
• Provides connection and support to other school nursing staff when needed.
