Responsibilities

• provides instruction for health science core, patient care assisting/nurse aide, and phlebotomy courses
• responsible for executing program standards to include classroom instruction, identifying appropriate resources and teaching methods, and evaluating students' progress in attaining goals and objectives
• responsible for the evaluation of student clinical performance, progress, and procedural competencies
• demonstrates the use of appropriate teaching techniques
• demonstrates the effective use of oral and written communication skills

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Associate’s Degree in Nursing or other health care profession from a regionally accredited institution
• three (3) years employment experience in the field within the past seven (7) years
• Current nationally recognized organization certification in any one of the following; LPN or RN
