AngloGold Ashanti North America is seeking a Health, Safety and Security Superintendent for our Beatty, Nevada operations. You will lead safety culture, regulatory compliance, and risk management to protect employees, contractors, and communities.

Reporting to the HSS Manager, you will drive MSHA/OSHA compliance, manage the Safety Management Information System, lead training programs, and partner with operations to embed proactive prevention and incident investigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, or a related field.
• MSHA Instructor certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of health and safety leadership in U.S. mining, preferably Nevada.
• Strong knowledge of MSHA and OSHA standards.
• Experience with Safety Management Information Systems.
• Excellent training, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Champion safety culture through visible leadership.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with MSHA/OSHA and company standards.
• Lead risk assessment programs and incident investigations.
• Develop, deliver, and refresh safety trainings for personnel.
• Maintain SMIS and analyze leading indicators.
• Collaborate with site leadership and operations to improve safety outcomes.
