Job summary

Na Ali‘i is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to lead site safety across multiple projects and locations. You will conduct hazard analyses, support OSHA compliance, and develop health and safety plans with a focus on risk mitigation and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities include auditing sites, training staff, managing incident investigations, and coordinating with project teams and clients to maintain safe and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Safety, Environmental Health) preferred.
• Professional certifications (ASP/CHST/CSP/CIH) strongly preferred.
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour current with annual refreshers.
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry or Construction within last 5 years.
• Experience with USACE or demolition projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform JHAs/AHAs/RAs and hazard identification for project activities.
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions at sites nationwide.
• Oversee hazardous material handling, sampling, remediation, and disposal.
• Develop and revise corporate safety policies and training programs.
• Support OSHA reporting, recordkeeping, and incident investigation.
• Prepare technical reports and root-cause analyses.
