Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Professional for the 2nd shift in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. You will champion a proactive safety culture, guide teams, and ensure OSHA-compliant practices across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include promoting EHS excellence, leading audits, training staff, and driving continuous improvement in safety systems aligned with ISO standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in health, safety, and environmental roles.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations within manufacturing.
  • Proven experience developing and managing safety systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • ASP or CSP certification preferred.
