We’re partnering with a growing chemical manufacturing company backed by private equity and entering a new phase of expansion. As part of that growth, they’re hiring an EHS Officer with a strong focus on environmental compliance. This is a high-impact role built around ownership of environmental programs not a generalist safety position.

Key Responsibilities

• Own environmental compliance across the facility
• Maintain and update SPCC / DPCC plans
• Manage regulatory reporting (DEP, EPA, DOT)
• Interface with regulatory agencies and support audits
• Oversee hazardous material handling and documentation
• Maintain compliance data across systems and reporting portals

Day-to-Day

• ~75–80% compliance, reporting, and documentation
• ~20–25% on the manufacturing floor
• High ownership, working directly with leadership

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of EHS experience with a strong environmental focus
• Background in chemical manufacturing or similar industry
• Experience with SPCC, DPCC, or similar programs
• Familiarity with DEP and/or EPA regulations
• Experience managing regulatory reporting
• $110K–$140K base (flexible for strong candidates)
