Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to partner with plant leadership in Springdale, AR, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and corporate safety standards. You will train new hires and current staff, manage the safety program, and align with OSHA requirements in a 6am–3pm shift.

The role focuses on hazard identification, training delivery, data reporting, and continuous improvement of safety practices across the facility.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Health and Safety preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in health and safety programs in manufacturing.
• Ability to train and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and training of new employees and temps.
• Identify and control hazardous workplace conditions.
• Coordinate removal of physical, biological, and chemical hazards.
• Train staff on safety policies and gov't regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state health and safety rules and recordkeeping.
• Lead safety standards compliance and OSHA inspections prep.
• Develop and report KPIs for safety performance.
• Lead safety training programs and update LMS content.
