Candidates may substitute RHIA/RHIT credentials for the required education.
Military service experience may substitute for experience in health records management.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, implement, maintain and evaluate a health records program for a State facility or local health department.
Directly supervise Health Records Technician Supervisors and oversee staff within the program.
Coordinate with higher-level health administrators and ensure program compliance and effectiveness.
