Job summary

Madison College is seeking a Program Advisor to support high school students earning college credit, focusing on Health programs and Nursing Assistant pathways. You will provide comprehensive advising, meet students at schools or virtually, and travel to Madison College campuses as needed.

The role includes a regular Mon–Fri schedule with potential for remote work two days per week after three months, and a grant-funded term through Sept 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of academic advising principles, course planning and transfer pathways.
• Experience applying case management to support student persistence and success.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and events for student engagement.
• Strong communication skills with diverse student populations.
• Ability to manage multiple processes and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic, career and transfer advising.
• Deliver case management and retention support through proactive monitoring and referrals.
• Coordinate student-facing events, workshops and orientations.
• Support recruitment and enrollment activities and guide students through procedures.
• Collaborate with departments and partners to align with policies and goals.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve advising practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for compliance.
