Job summary

The Management and Program Analyst is located in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation line of the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS). The purpose of this position is to provide senior management with data on the patterns of care, patient outcomes, and cost associated with health care processes.

Provides daily operational support to improve accessibility and achieve timely, appropriate, high-quality, and cost-efficient care. Telework may be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 in the organization.
• Analyze operational and program data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare recurring or ad-hoc reports to support management decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Conducts organizational and manpower studies to identify workflow and staffing efficiencies.
• Develops and maintains administrative policies and service-line guidance.
• Provides administrative management for programs and identifies when policy updates are needed.
• Produces ad-hoc data extracts, dashboards, and decision-support tools using VistA, VSSC, SQL, CDW and Pyramid Analytics.
