Job summary

Department of Veterans Affairs — Veterans Health Administration in Lexington, KY seeks a Program Analyst to manage data across clinical and administrative software to support business intelligence and informatics initiatives.

The role requires coordinating workflow assessments, applying lean principles, and configuring VA information systems (CPRS, VistA, FileMan). Telework may be authorized; typical hours are 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Evidence-based program analysis and data-driven decision making required.
• Lean and high-reliability systems redesign experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administrates data to mission-specific databases to support BI applications.
• Represents the service on committees/workgroups for systems redesign and performance measures.
• Develops, plans, and implements program analyses using diverse data sources.
• Determines data-collection methods based on objectives and policy.
• Configures and tests application parameters, profiles, and access to meet service requirements.
• Acts as ADPAC and SME for CPRS, VistA and Nursing Package.
