Arkansas Department of Health is seeking a Health Program Coordinator to lead the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs. You will guide staff and ensure alignment with state and federal regulations.

You will design and monitor programs, mentor staff, analyze data, prepare reports, oversee grant compliance, coordinate partners, and propose policy recommendations to advance public health goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Two years of experience in public health, program coordination, or health education.
  • Strong understanding of public health principles, planning and evaluation methods.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external partners and provide technical guidance to staff.

Job description

The Health Program Coordinator serves as the lead program specialist overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs under the Arkansas Department of Health. The coordinator provides programmatic leadership and technical guidance to Health Program Specialists and other staff, ensuring alignment with state public health goals, agency standards, and federal and state regulations.
