Job summary

The Health Program Specialist develops, coordinates, and implements public health programs to address specific health issues and populations across Arkansas. Based in Pine Bluff, this position supports community health improvement through evidence-based strategies, stakeholder engagement, and interagency collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health science, social work, education, public administration, or closely related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in planning or implementing public health programs preferred.
  • Strong understanding of public health principles and program development cycles.
  • Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required for frequent in-state and regional travel.
