Job summary

Covered California is seeking a Health Program Advisor to assess health program issues, interpret policies, and collaborate with partners to analyze user feedback and inform system changes.

You will provide ongoing guidance and support to the organization and stakeholders, helping enrollers and teams understand complex health programs and CalHEERS/Enroller Portal design elements.

Job description

How You’ll Make an Impact!

The Distribution Services Section in Covered California’s Outreach and Sales Division is looking for someone with strong critical thinking and analytical skills, and a self-starter with outstanding attention to detail. As the Health Program Advisor, you will be:

  • Assessing key health program, system, and implementation issues
  • Identifying gap/enhancement and design elements in the California Healthcare Eligibility and Enrollment Retention System (CalHEERS) and the Enroller Portal
  • Interpreting and evaluating health policies and programs
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to solicit and analyze user feedback to inform system changes
  • Providing continued program and technical guidance, expertise, and support to the organization and stakeholders
Salary: New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

$6,623.00 - $8,290.00
