The New York State Department of Health seeks two Health Program Administrators to coordinate child health initiatives within the CYSHCN Unit. You will manage contracts statewide, provide guidance, monitor performance, and collaborate with staff to improve services for children and youth with special health care needs.

Candidates should have experience in program administration, data review, and policy development.

Qualificações

• Experience in administering, supervising, and overseeing agency programs
• Ability to review and prepare procurement documents, grant proposals, and reports
• Strong writing and communication skills; attention to data and program quality

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate statewide contracts for CYSHCN initiatives.
• Provide guidance and technical assistance to contractors; may include onsite visits.
• Monitor performance, review workplans and quarterly reports for compliance.
• Collaborate with unit staff to support quality improvement and performance management.
• Develop written materials including procurement documents, grant proposals, and reports.
• Review national and state data; promote equity in public health initiatives.
• Prepare materials for in-person meetings or webinars for stakeholders.
• Summarize stakeholder feedback to inform planning; participate in workgroups.
