Department of State Health Services in Austin, TX seeks a State Health Coordinator to oversee CYSHCN systems of care and lead Title V Block Grant efforts. This role informs policy, guides program development, and partners with state agencies to improve child health outcomes.

Under supervisory guidance, you will coordinate data analysis, develop educational tools, and manage staff activities to ensure timely delivery of services while supporting disaster readiness and COOP planning.

Competenze

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a relevant science or liberal arts field.
• Master’s degree in public health or public administration preferred.
• At least two years of experience working in public health, maternal and child health, and/or health care policy development including CYSHCN programming.
• Experience developing and presenting program policy reports and communications.
• Experience coordinating project coordination and completion.

Mansioni

• Plan, develop, and implement CYSHCN systems of care.
• Lead CYSHCN State Action Plan and coordinate stakeholder feedback sessions.
• Monitor staff and contractor activities and perform data analysis.
• Develop and deliver educational materials and training tools for providers, families, and staff.
• Represent the agency at meetings, conferences, and on boards; collaborate with partners.
