Global Gateway Advisors is seeking a Managing Director, Health, based in the New York City area, to help lead and grow our health practice. This senior leadership role is for an experienced agency leader who can advise clients on complex business and reputational challenges, build enduring relationships, develop new business and lead high-performing teams.

The role requires at least 15 years of healthcare communications experience, with a track record of turning strategy into measurable results

Qualifications

• 15+ years of healthcare communications experience, with senior client leadership responsibilities.
• Significant healthcare domain exposure across pharmaceuticals, biotech, medtech, health tech or delivery.
• Proven ability to originate new business and grow major client relationships.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex, integrated assignments.
• Excellent presentation, storytelling, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable communications programs and oversee execution.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute growth strategy for the health practice at Global Gateway Advisors.
• Act as senior counselor and relationship lead for major healthcare accounts.
• Originate, win and expand business across existing and new client relationships.
• Lead teams with clear direction, high standards and talent development.
• Create distinctive communications strategies for complex healthcare, business and policy challenges.
• Collaborate across practices and geographies to deliver client outcomes and profitability.
• Coach colleagues and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
