Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in network contracting with large provider groups, including different contract types.
• Familiarity with value-based payment models and managed care contracting.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts with complex provider groups to secure high-quality, cost-effective plan providers.
• Manage contracts and re-contracts for large entities, including APM contracts and delegation oversight.
• Analyze financial impact of terms and prepare justification for executive approval.
• Develop and maintain provider contracts in contract management systems.
• Engage providers to renegotiate rates/language and support cost-control strategies.
• Educate internal customers on contract terms and payment structures.
• Travel up to 25% within Texas, mainly Central & NE Texas.
