Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield Association is seeking a seasoned professional to lead Health Plan Accreditation initiatives and NCQA/URAC submissions. You will serve as a subject matter expert, developing strategies, evidence, and guidance for Plans and FEP-related activities.

The role involves coordinating with accrediting bodies, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective communication through Accreditation Town Hall events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health administration, nursing, public health or related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years with URAC/NCQA accreditation standards in managed care.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables with cross-departmental inputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Health Plan Accreditation projects and develop compliance strategies.
• Create accreditor-compliant submissions and manage NCQA/URAC tooling and evidence.
• Develop content, present to Plans, and support accreditation communications.
• Translate trend data into strategic action plans and mock surveys as needed.
• Coordinate with Plans, accrediting bodies, and internal stakeholders on standards interpretation.
