Cardinal Health in Indianapolis is seeking a Health Physics professional to develop and implement radiation safety policies and programs, ensuring compliance with NRC, DOT, EPA and other regulators.
The role leads safety training, audits, emergency response planning, and coordinates EH&S tasks to protect personnel and environments while supporting regulatory licensing and site operations.
What Health Physics contributes to Cardinal Health Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications. Health Physics provides support to the manufacturing facility for the safe use of radioactive materials and radiation producing machines. This job family develops, deploys, implements, and trains on health physics and radiation safety policies, procedures, and programs. Health physics engages in licensing, packaging design, auditing, facility and equipment testing, emergency response, and other regulatory activities.
Shift/Schedule Full Time / 40 hours Day shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm Candidate must be flexible to work different schedules based on business needs.
