Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist to support NPHS Logistics Center daily tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. This role emphasizes safe, efficient handling of products and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
You will participate in on-the-job training, operate warehouse equipment, and coordinate with supervisors on training and process improvements. Forklift operation certification is provided if needed.
Schedule 40 hours per week. Typically either an 8 hour shift and/or 10 hour shifts between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 or as assigned. Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours or overtime based on business needs.
What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. The Specialist, Warehouse Operations will ensure the efficient operation of the logistics center by overseeing daily activities such receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. of products/materials. The Warehouse Specialist will be expected to follow existing safety and quality control procedures and is responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to a variety of internal and external customers. Responsible for executing daily order processing, inventory management, and maintaining quality standards for the NPHS (Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions) Logistics Center. Responsible for project execution as assigned.
