Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC is seeking a Health Physics Intern to join our Devens, MA team. The internship runs 13–26 weeks, with 40–50 hours per week and an hourly salary based on year in school. Interns are on-site, with transportation and housing responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities include radiation monitoring, instrument checks, sample counting, and maintaining compliance records. Open to BS through PhD students in health physics or related fields with relevant coursework and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Health Physics / Radiological Sciences, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Coursework in radiation physics, radiation detection, or health physics.
• Hands-on radiation protection exposure or related experience.
• Experience with radiation detection instruments or sample counting.

Responsabilités

• Assist with routine monitoring and surveillance of radiation activities.
• Support instrument checks, sample collection, and data review.
• Organize compliance records and track inspections and actions.
• Support the dosimetry program and RP readiness for operations.
