Job summary

Department of State Health Services seeks a Health Physicist I with Mammography Inspector responsibilities to perform complex inspections of mammography systems and related records.

Qualifications

• Require degree in science or health field and MQSA/ARRT/MRT certification
• Two years of related inspection/regulatory experience preferred
• Ability to plan statewide inspections and prepare regulatory reports
• Strong knowledge of MQSA and FDA guidelines

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct statewide inspections of mammography systems.
• Prepare detailed investigative reports and FDA facility inspection copies.
• Coordinate emergency response duties and disaster readiness activities.
• Assist and train other inspectors and support COOP objectives.
