Job summary

HDR Health is seeking a seasoned Health Principal to shape HDR's health sector in Northern California. You will drive new business, oversee health projects, and strengthen HDR's reputation through design excellence, client service, and thought leadership across San Francisco and surrounding regions.

Reporting to the Managing Principal, you will collaborate with regional health leadership to elevate HDR’s health brand, mentor teams, and deliver high-impact healthcare environments that improve

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture required.
15 years related experience in health architecture or similar.
Minimum 7 years project management experience.
Must be a Registered Architect.
Experience on large-scale health projects.
Ability to lead a team and manage client presentations.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Drive quality design, innovative planning, client service and thought leadership on health projects in the region.
Lead projects as Principal-in-Charge or Healthcare Planning Principal when appropriate.
Provide insights and guidance to healthcare teams within HDR.
Perform other duties as needed.
