HDR is seeking an Associate Health Principal in California to guide the Health sector region, build client networks, and lead project teams with a focus on excellence in design and sustainability.

The role emphasizes business development, pursuing opportunities, and delivering high-quality projects while mentoring staff and advancing HDR's employee-owned culture. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
• Minimum of 10 years experience
• Registered Architect
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and familiar with related tools and processes
• Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
• Experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications
• Strong knowledge of codes and good planning skills
• Active participant in employee-owned culture
