Job summary

PA Consulting in Chicago, IL is seeking an Operating Model Consultant to help health and life sciences clients design future-state operating models, governance structures, capabilities, and effective ways of working.

You’ll join multidisciplinary teams to solve complex business challenges, translate strategy into action, and build transformation roadmaps through rigorous analysis, facilitated workshops, and practical recommendations for improved performance.

Qualifications

2+ years in consulting or health/life sciences transformation.
Supported clinical, R&D, medical, regulatory, commercial, or enterprise transformation initiatives within pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, or healthcare organizations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive with a drive to solve difficult challenges with creativity and structure.

Responsibilities

Design future-state operating models, governance, capabilities, and ways of working.
Analyze complex business challenges and develop recommendations, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
Facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops with clients from operational teams to executive leadership.
Assess organizational capabilities and identify opportunities for improved performance and transformation.
