Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a senior data engineer to design and implement digital solutions, focusing on optimizing Payer metadata, automating contracts, and measuring payer performance. You will work with cross-functional teams to architect and build scalable integration patterns across cloud-native SaaS, Epic EMR, and the Enterprise Data Platform.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
Hands-on dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
Programming in SQL, Python, and related languages for cloud and on-prem data warehousing.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting data issues.
Hands-on experience with performance improvement techniques.
Willingness to identify and implement process improvements and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Architect & Build: design end-to-end integration patterns bridging cloud-native SaaS, Epic EMR, and data platform.
Quality & Resilience: conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure reliability and scalability.
Stakeholder Leadership: act as a technical consultant to Product and Business leads.
Innovation & AI: explore tools/frameworks to drive innovation and automation.
Documentation & Governance: create architecture diagrams and best practices for self-service.
Self Starter: handle ambiguity and ask questions to develop solutions.
