Job summary

DLH Corp is seeking a Scientific Programmer to support the National Institute on Aging IT Division, developing applications and systems critical to clinical data collection and integration across IRP sites. Work within a DevSecOps-based Agile environment with clinicians, technicians, scientists, and vendors.

You will apply HL7, DICOM, PACS, and multiple databases; design frontends with HTML/CSS/JS and backends with Perl, PHP, or Ruby; ensure security per US-CERT and OWASP; obtain Public Trust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or health IT.
• Minimum 3+ years of clinical application programming or health IT systems development.
• Experience designing, coding, debugging, and implementing multi-tier applications.
• Proficiency with HL7, DICOM, and PACS protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, debug, and implement stand-alone, web-based, and multi-tier applications for IRP, NIA.
• Develop frontends with HTML/CSS/JavaScript for responsive, accessible interfaces.
• Backends with Perl/PHP/Ruby and PostgreSQL/MySQL databases.
• Work within a DevSecOps-based Agile process and secure coding standards (OWASP/US-CERT).
• Support clinical IT systems and laboratory science IT across NIA IRP sites.
