Job summary

DLH Corporation seeks a Scientific Programmer to support the NIA IT Division, delivering robust clinical data apps and services in a DevSecOps environment. You will work with clinicians, researchers, and vendors to implement secure software for data collection, management, and integration across IRP sites.

Responsibilities span full-stack development with HL7, DICOM, and PACS standards, multiple databases, and Puppet-based configuration; you will ensure security and compliance while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, bioinformatics, health information, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in clinical application programming or health IT development.
• Proficiency with HL7, DICOM, and PACS and web front-end tech.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, debug, and implement stand-alone, web-based, and multi-tier applications for IRP, NIA.
• Develop frontends using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create backends using Perl, PHP, and PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Apply HL7, DICOM, and PACS standards in clinical applications.
• Use Git for version control and Puppet for configuration management.
• Operate in a DevSecOps-based Agile environment.
