Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Business Analyst to support Agile software development projects in the Health sector. The role requires independent leadership of requirements activities and collaboration with technical and business leadership to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You will own complex requirement efforts, serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, and help shape scalable solutions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
• Experience translating business needs into technical artifacts (themes, stories, data requirements, APIs).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and ability to lead requirements activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation for Agile software projects.
• Translate complex business needs into testable user stories, epics, features, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Product Owners to manage, prioritize, and refine the product backlog.
• Act as liaison between client stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Define and document functional and non-functional requirements (security, performance, integration, scalability).
• Support design discussions with business and system insights.
• Identify and manage requirements risks, dependencies, assumptions, and impacts.
• Support testing, defect triage, and user acceptance to ensure business intent.
• Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery reporting; mentor junior analysts.
