Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a Retail Center Sales Representative in Irmo, SC. This on-site role focuses on selling ACA policies and providing consultative sales and service to customers seeking health and ancillary insurance products.

You will promote products at retail locations, collect payments, and participate in wellness education and PHAs. Requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience; insurance licensure must be obtained within 60 days of

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year retail, sales, and/or marketing experience preferred.
• Ability to develop/maintain effective relationships with customers.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and marketplace.
• Strong presentation and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promotes individual insurance products at retail stores, events, and sales outings.
• Analyzes customer needs and matches company products and services.
• Receives and handles payments from customers.
• Explains products, benefits, underwriting, and enrollment processes.
• Generates leads and conducts follow-ups and appointments.
• Assists with wellness education and Personal Health Assessments (PHAs).
