Position Highlights
- Temporary Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30 PM EST
- Location: Remote
- Work in a high-volume production environment.
- Process medical record requests, including taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical status.
- Document information across multiple platforms using dual monitors.
You Will
- Receive and process requests for patient health information following company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information.
- Use company and facility software effectively.
- Follow the company's and facility's Code of Conduct and policies.
- Report work, site difficulties, and volume fluctuations to your manager.
- Assist with additional duties as needed.
- Apply medical privacy regulations to prevent unauthorized disclosures.
- Manage patient health records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA.
- Prepare new patient charts, gather documents, and ensure completeness.
- Create digital images of paperwork for electronic storage.
- Respond to and transmit patient record requests appropriately.
- Answer inbound/outbound calls and assist with patient walk-ins if necessary.
- Perform administrative tasks such as handling faxes, opening mail, and data entry.
- Meet productivity expectations.
- Schedule pickups as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
