Position Highlights
  1. Temporary Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30 PM EST
  2. Location: Remote
  3. Work in a high-volume production environment.
  4. Process medical record requests, including taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical status.
  5. Document information across multiple platforms using dual monitors.
You Will
  1. Receive and process requests for patient health information following company policies.
  2. Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information.
  3. Use company and facility software effectively.
  4. Follow the company's and facility's Code of Conduct and policies.
  5. Report work, site difficulties, and volume fluctuations to your manager.
  6. Assist with additional duties as needed.
  7. Apply medical privacy regulations to prevent unauthorized disclosures.
  8. Manage patient health records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA.
  9. Prepare new patient charts, gather documents, and ensure completeness.
  10. Create digital images of paperwork for electronic storage.
  11. Respond to and transmit patient record requests appropriately.
  12. Answer inbound/outbound calls and assist with patient walk-ins if necessary.
  13. Perform administrative tasks such as handling faxes, opening mail, and data entry.
  14. Meet productivity expectations.
  15. Schedule pickups as required.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Ability to commute between locations as needed.
  3. Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons.
  4. Basic proficiency with computers.
  5. Comfort with phones, fax, printers, and office equipment.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  7. Attention to detail and compliance in medical records.
  8. Strong data entry skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  10. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  11. Ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
