Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate and complete patient health records in electronic and paper formats.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational privacy and security regulations (HIPAA).
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to facilitate access for clinical and billing purposes.
• Implement and monitor health information systems to improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting.
• Conduct regular audits and quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Train and support staff on documentation practices and health information technologies.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and health information management technologies.
