• Bachelor’s degree in health information administration or related field.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding; health information practices including medical record ethics, classification and nomenclature.
• AHIMA certification or eligibility within one year of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and coordinates the health information functions for the hospital, clinic, long term care and related departments.
• Ensure timely coding, manage quality, accuracy and productivity, with adequate FTE allocation for manageable workloads for both HIM and coding staff.
