Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Health Information Management Technician to support inpatient assembly, analysis and admissions processing within the HIM department.

The role includes sorting, proofing and error identification of reports, with opportunities for professional growth, flexible scheduling, and supportive leadership as part of our collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High School diploma or its equivalent with specialized training in an approved Health Information Management Program.
• Experience: Previous medical record experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient assembly, analysis and admissions processing in support of the Health Information Management function, including sorting, proofing and error identification of all reports.
• Provides telephone back-up as needed.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Health Information Management (“HIM”) Technician include, but are not limited to: inpatient assembly, analysis and admissions processing (including sorting, proofing and error identification of all reports) in support of the Health Information Management function. The HIM Technician also provides telephone back-up as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Training: High School diploma or its equivalent with specialized training in an approved business, secretarial school or college. Prefer specialized training in an approved Health Information Management Program.

Experience: Previous medical record experience in healthcare setting preferred.
