PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Health Information Management (HIM) Technician to support inpatient assembly, analysis and admissions processing within the HIM function. The role may include telephone back-up as needed to ensure accurate medical records and timely information access.

Education and training: High School diploma or equivalent, with preferred specialized training in Health Information Management.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High School diploma or its equivalent with specialized training in an approved Health Information Management Program.
• Experience: Previous medical record experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• The responsibilities of the Health Information Management (“HIM”) Technician include, but are not limited to: inpatient assembly, analysis and admissions processing (including sorting, proofing and error identification of all reports) in support of the Health Information Management function.
• The HIM Technician also provides telephone back-up as needed.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education and Training: High School diploma or its equivalent with specialized training in an approved business, secretarial school or college. Prefer specialized training in an approved Health Information Management Program.

Experience: Previous medical record experience in healthcare setting preferred.
