Job description

To collect, maintain, and make available to authorized users timely, accurate, and complete health information. Prioritizes, assembles and scans documents, as well as reviews the electronic document management system and records contained within for appropriate image quality and indexing. Works readily alongside other team members in the Health Information Management department to meet the needs of internal and external customers in a fast paced medical office environment.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required

- Health Information (medical records) chart analysis training or work experience preferred

- General computer and office skills to include filing, organization, and time management

- Medical terminology or previous medical office work a plus

- Knowledge of filing and general office duties

- Ability to work well with other team members, physicians and customers

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
