Job summary

LifeBridge Health is seeking a medical coder to manage coding and abstracting for day surgery and outpatient records. You will assist with coding ERs and infusion cases as needed, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in a fast-paced environment.

With a focus on accuracy and compliance, you will support the coding team to maintain up-to-date records across multiple care locations within the LifeBridge Health system.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in medical coding or health information management.
• Associates Degree required.
• Licenses and Certification: CCS, COC, RHIA, or RHIT required; RHIT or RHIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Codes and abstracts medical records for day surgery and outpatient records following established conventions.
• Assists with coding and leveling ERs and infusion cases as needed.
• Keeps work up to date.

Requirements

Pay Range: $22.22 to $36.57 Based On Experience
