Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical healthcare field, business discipline, healthcare management, health information management or information science or equivalent experience.
• Two years of work experience in an acute care health information management setting.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Demonstrate advanced ability to operate a computer, multiple software applications, and other office equipment as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytic support and quantify business requirements; perform analyses, forecasting and data mining to support cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Review patients' records for timeliness, completeness and accuracy; communicate with cross-functional teams as appropriate.
• Ensure quality maintenance of patient information/medical records within applicable laws, policies, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
