Job summary

Braden River Rehabilitation Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a dedicated Medical Records Clerk with a FL CNA credential and experience reading medical terminology to support long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services.

You will prepare charts for admissions, close records on discharge, maintain physicians' orders and visit schedules, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. A strong attention to detail and proficient computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Florida CNA certification and High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading and interpreting medical terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and common computer-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Record keeping and medical records management for LTC and sub-acute care nursing center.
• Prepare charts for new admissions, close medical records on discharge, maintain physician orders and visit schedules, and audit to ensure records management meets center policies and state and federal laws.
