Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 24 graduate hours in health, health and fitness, exercise physiology, physical education, or related field.
• One year of full-time or part-time teaching, participation, and/or coaching experience.
• Current American Red Cross Instructor certification OR American Heart Association First Aid, AED, CPR for the Professional Rescuer or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students in classroom, lab, learning center or other setting as appropriate.
• Provides student contact before or after class or through email exchanges or office hours where facilities and schedules permit.
• Prepares and uses instructional materials, including syllabi, media and devices; incorporates technology into activities.
