Job summary

Methodist Healthcare Ministries Of S. Tx is seeking a PJTT Sustainability Supervisor to lead the Sustainability phase, supervise Coordinadores and Coordinators, and drive training, resource development, and process improvement for health equity initiatives.

You will coordinate events, manage tool usage (Asana), and foster collaboration across departments and coalitions to empower communities and sustain impact. Requires strong leadership, program management, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social/behavioral sciences, public health, or a related field.
• Four (4) years of experience in community outreach, organizing, or coalition building, including work with lived experiences of inequities.
• Demonstrated experience engaging individuals with lived experience in projects, programs, and/or decision-making processes.
• Experience supervising, coaching, or developing individuals or teams.
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing processes, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency using project management, data, and communication platforms such as Asana, Fluxx, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with sustainability strategies focused on people, processes, resources, and impact, including diversified funding, business planning, and measuring impact.
• In lieu of a degree: High school diploma or equivalent and six years of progressively responsible experience in community outreach, organizing, or coalition-building roles.
• Knowledge of community development models (e.g., ABCD).
• Experience addressing health and social inequities in marginalized populations.
• Experience coaching individuals or teams and supporting professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, support, and guidance to PJTT team members as point of contact for coalitions.
• Train and coach team members in eliciting effective conversations, planning, and group decision-making with communities.
• Coordinate internal training for PJTT processes, onboarding, budgets, events, and communications with MHM departments.
• Support presentations on sustainability topics and ongoing knowledge updates on related practices.
• Participate in departmental plans for organizational culture and team engagement, and in PJTT goals.
• Assist with weekly team meetings and coalition debrief sessions.
