Job summary

Samuel Merritt University seeks a Community Health Simulation & Research Manager to design, implement, evaluate, and disseminate health equity simulations and community health initiatives across multiple programs.

This role bridges the Center for Community Engagement/Ethnic Health Institute and the Health Sciences Simulation Center, advancing interprofessional education and workforce development for underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in public health or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in health equity programming, simulation education, community health, or related areas.
• Experience in interprofessional education and leading research, scholarship, and dissemination.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of health equity simulations and related educational initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculty across nursing, medicine, public health, and other disciplines to integrate simulations into curricula.
• Support community-facing trainings and workforce development in medically underserved populations.
• Lead and participate in research, evaluation, and dissemination of program outcomes.
