Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a full-time Simulation Education Specialist to lead education programs using high-fidelity simulation across multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes needs assessments, curriculum development, and performance improvement to enhance patient safety.

The position requires clinical expertise, teaching experience in healthcare, and the ability to manage multiple complex simulation projects, with flexibility for scheduling and strong collaboration with staff and learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with 3 years healthcare teaching.
• Five years clinical experience with at least one year teaching in healthcare.
• Current license in the related clinical discipline.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Certification: CHSE within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of simulation activities including setup, delivery, and debriefings.
• Mentor clinicians and stakeholders supporting simulation-based activities.
• Coordinate use of simulation equipment and spaces.
• Analyze simulation outcomes and provide real-time feedback.
• Ensure safety compliance during activities.
• Design and evaluate curricula for simulation programs.
• Lead data management and accreditation tasks.
