Job summary

The Colorado Health Foundation is seeking a Senior Program Officer to advance health equity across Colorado. The SPO will lead strategy development and oversee implementation, working closely with communities and partners in diverse settings.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least eight years in health philanthropy or related fields, with nonprofit or public-sector experience. Significant travel (at least 40%) within Colorado is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and eight years’ experience directly applicable to health philanthropy (or related).
• Deep competency with strategy development and implementation.
• Experience in nonprofit or public sector and experience working in health or related organizations is preferred.
• Senior Program Officers spend a minimum of 40% travel throughout Colorado.
