Public Health Institute seeks a Data Analyst to join the Public Health Alliance’s Data Team. You will implement equity-focused data collection, analysis, and visualization for the Healthy Places Index and related projects, using R/R Studio.

This remote role collaborates with project managers and analysts and supports communications and trainings. Strong background in data analytics, public health data, and communicating results to non-technical audiences is essential.

Qualificações

• 1 year of data analysis experience.
• 1 year of experience in the public health field.
• Experience using R and RStudio.
• Bachelor's degree in science or quantitative field, or substitute with four additional years of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Collects, cleans, and analyzes data for Alliance initiatives including new indicators for the Healthy Places Index.
• Performs geospatial tasks for the HPI map platform including creating geographic aggregations and indicators.
• Implements and maintains a modern data infrastructure for the HPI family of products.
• Writes legible, annotated, and reproducible code for analyses.
• Prepares technical documentation and reports.
• Builds internal capacity for data analysis and visualization.
• Develops training materials and provides technical assistance on the HPI and map tool.
• Assists team in communications on program activities including presentations and grant reports.
